We headed up to stampede for the weekend. It is always so much work to get out and go camping, but we always have such a great time! We decided to stay for 2 nights, since it always just seems like way too much work for just 1 quick night. This way we got to enjoy Saturday without worrying about packing up and getting home. We went to the lake for part of the day, took a bike ride, came back for naps (everyone was so tired after playing so hard!), then enjoyed some time around our camp playing and cooking and eating around the campfire.
I don’t know how much we’ll camp this summer since we have some things planned over weekends already, but whenever we can we want to head out and enjoy some time outdoors. After lunch on sunday, we headed out for some exploring. We drove around looking for some other good camping areas and we stopped at boca for lunch. I always think the kids have more fun when we stay next to water, weather it’s a lake or a creek, they seem to enjoy it more. Since it’s been so dry this year, the dirt was causing extra dust all over everything and the kids were just like little dust bombs. They had so much fun though. Love having kids at their ages and watching them enjoy being outside so much.
